Welcome Home - The Moore House

This is artwork from the upcoming Horror Stories: Welcome Home. You explore the house of the Moore family, exploring and uncovering mysteries. For this project I was the 3D Generalist; responsible for modeling, texturing game assets as well as implementing them into UE4.

I was responsible for the 3D modeling and textures of the Moore House, working from established concepts by Uriel Cordas.
The house was built from mostly modular assets in Maya. Since there’s a lot of repeating, but the house still has a lots of unique dimensions and features, I used a combination of UV tilesets for easier texturing of the larger surfaces (walls, roof ). And 'kits' for the many types of architecture used for decorating the house (windows, railing ).

The level design & set dressing was done by Valentina Chrysostomou.
The house is split into two timelines; 1922 and 1987.

I worked directly with CMD:Studio members:
Director Mark Drew
Art Lead Uriel Cordas
Creative Lead Valentina Chrysostomou

Maya pre-built assembly of the houses. A combination of modular kits and Adhoc assets. Divided into layers depending on the floor or kit. These layers then get re-imported into UE.

Although the house is pre-assembled in Maya, a lot of these modular building kits can be found in Unreal as well, for future use.
