Manufactory - Factory Building Game

These building assets were made for Manufactory; a Factory Building Game. I did concept art, 3d asset creation, animations and implemented these into Unity. The final look in the game will be a cell-shaded stylized look. Buildings would have to be noticable, colorful and unique-looking. Another requirement was for the unit sizes to match the in-game grid. And to easily connect with Conveyor Belts through inputs/outputs.

The main buildings would have to be low-poly, stylized for a cell-shaded look, unique and colorful.

The Conveyerbelts were made to be modular pieces that fit the grid and support a scrolling tiled texture.

Some of the buildings have animations, like the Assembly Machine above.

Lots of thumbnails and sketching went into the design of each building. The original ideas for shapes were mainly derived from components found on a circuit board.

After a building's sketches were approved. I would clean up and define it in a new concept.
